Biking: The Kalamazoo River Valley Trail is a 10-foot wide, paved-asphalt surface. It's a multi-purpose trail for non-motorized transportation and recreation an free to use.

Join us for our next a meet-up event: Bike and Brew!
We will join the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and ride a total of 12 miles round-trip to the Kalamazoo Nature Center and back to Arcadia to enjoy a beer and conversation with fellow educators on the bank of the Kalamazoo River. This is a free event but registration is required.
There are always options:
Option A: Ride 6 miles to the Kalamazoo Nature Center stop and have a light snack, learn a little bit about MAEOE and stay to explore the nature centers 14 + miles of trails and exhibits on your own. Have you been to the nature center before? Check out their website for more information: https://naturecenter.org/
Option B: Ride 6 miles to the Kalamazoo Nature Center stop, have a light snack learn a about MAEOE and ride back to Arcadia Ales for good conversation, games and relaxing riverside atmosphere.
